Strawberry Orange Bundt Cake!! Strawberry Orange Bundt Cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate sprinkles. Delicious!

If you told me 3 years ago that I would have a food blog and would be head over heels in love with baking and cooking, I would have laughed in your face. Back then, I only knew of one food blog. One. That was it. And the only reason I knew of it was because a lot of my friends were following her . . I think mainly because of her Korean dishes and beautiful cupcakes.

Back then, I had no idea this entire blogging universe or blogosphere really even existed.

Fast forward almost 3 years . . because Madeline will be 3 years old in November and I fell in love with cooking again while on maternity leave after I had her. Oh how life has changed since this Strawberry and Orange Bundt Cake donut | HipFoodieMom.com

I know this looks like a big doughnut but I love doughnuts.  This might be my favorite bundt cake I have baked so far. And I’ve baked Strawberry and Orange Bundt Cake bonnet | HipFoodieMom.com

Such a beautiful, moist cake!! Aw, I kinda want to join bundt-a-month now!! Hm, presently I don’t even own a bundt tin… in fact, it wasn’t that long ago that I didn’t know what a bundt tin was!! I distinctly remember the first time I heard the word. It was on the movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” when… uh, the mother-of-the-groom brought a bundt cake to the Greek pre-wedding bash? If you haven’t seen it, the Greek mother-of-the-bride whispered, “It has a hole in it!” with a puzzled expression (she subsequently, and quite joyeously, filled the hole with a pot of petunias! Haha). I love your blog Alice. I’m glad that you enjoy the process of creating it as much as we love reading it. Hopefully when I’m a mum I’ll be almost as cool as you (I guess buying sprinkles is the first step!) x

      Hi Laura,
      You’re so sweet! When I started Bundt-a-month, I only owned one bundt pan. . now I won’t tell you how many I have. . (maybe 6 or 7?) 😛
If you enjoy baking, you should totally join! I love that this group keeps me on my toes!! Thank you for the comment! Made my night! 🙂

Aww. So cute! Of course, sprinkles must accompany every cake =)

Seriously, Alice your Bundt and ganache as always are gorgeous….I’m glad you got preggers and started a food blog so you can share the how-tos on your gems (aka works of art.) And intriguing ideas such as strawberries and naval oranges together in cake =)

BTW I credited and linked to HipFoodieMom for your white chocolate ganache for my last post: Strawberry Chocolate Bento.

Oh yes, fabulous cake for sure! The chocolate ganache really puts it over the top. And isn’t the “research” we have to do for blogging so much fun? I love it too. I’m glad to see someone else who doesn’t chase numbers and does it for pleasure. I think it makes your blog even more special because it is done from the heart.

Oh Alice, I can see why you think this is the best so far. The texture is unbelievable! So moist. And I can only imagine those flavors, which both go so well with chocolate. And let me tell you, a giant chocolate glaze strawberry orange donut would be out of this world. Imagine the look of your girls when they saw it!

Dang that cake looks ridiculously moist inside! Fabulous! I would never have thought to combine orange with strawberries. That’s why I’m so glad I follow wonderful kick ass bloggers like yourself who open my mind and palette up to so many possibilities. You’ll always be one of my faves – don’t stop blogging, or I’ll have to move next to you in order to continue seeing (and tasting!) what you cook and bake.

While I am sure the cake was delicious, would it be terrible if I made the ganache and ate it by the spoonful? This is exactly my kind of food!
