Christmas Wreath Charcuterie Boards for the holidays! Here are two versions: an easy cheese and charcuterie board and a meat lovers!

The photo above is using a white cake stand and I added more fresh rosemary in the center. the photo below is on a smaller round wood board and I used less fresh rosemary and sage.

In case you missed it, I went live yesterday on Instagram and made these live. I was showcasing a meat box I just got from Fox Heritage Farms. If you are in the Madison, Wisconsin area, I highly recommend checking out their 3 or 6 month meat box subscriptions.

Using their Hot Italian meatballs, I made a meat lovers wreath board! Make this for your meat loving loved one!

Christmas 2020

It might seem silly but I feel like this year is the year to be more festive. To play the holiday music, light candles, bake cookies, spend time together and just be with each other; and be thankful that we can be together, even if it’s just the four of us. We can’t go out, we can’t see family but boy, are we going to try our best to have fun with what we can do and we will eat well this year. I am also taking my kids out to Longwood Gardens to see lights and we might drive around a few neighborhoods to look at more Christmas lights.

I completely forgot about Elf on the Shelf, although the girls are probably too old for that now. I have been diligent with filling their stockings and I have all of my Christmas shopping finished. With family spread out all over the country and shipping delays, I knew to take care of all of that sooner rather than later.

We are still spending a lot of time together and playing games and watching movies. I’m hoping for snow this week. It’s in the forecast 100% for tomorrow. . let’s see if it sticks!

Christmas Wreath Charcuterie Boards

I love that I’ve seen so many creative ways to build and make holiday boards this year! This one, I think is super simple to make and can easily be adapted into a smaller or larger board. Grab the fresh rosemary and sage and have some fun!

  • tooth picks

Ingredients

  • fresh rosemary sprigs
  • fresh sage
  • variety cheese (cheddar, white cheddar and colby jack) cubed
  • mini mozzarella balls
  • salami and soppressata
  • castelvetrano olives
  • cornichons
  • candied pecan or nuts
  • pomegranate arils
  • sugared cranberries

Instructions

  • Using a round board or plate, arrange the fresh rosemary and sage around the edge in a circle. Place the cheese cubes, in groups, spaced apart around the edge, next to or slightly on top of the fresh rosemary and sage.
  • Fold a few salami and soppressata slices together and connect using a toothpick and arrange around the edge next to the cheeses. Fill in with the olives, cornichons, candied pecans and then fill in any holes with the mini mozzarella balls and cranberries and randomly sprinkle the pomegranate arils around the top. To make your board more wreath-like, feel free to add more fresh rosemary in the center. Serve and enjoy!
